Victor Potter stopped here one summer afternoon a couple of years ago. He graduated from Doylestown High School in 1947. When he went to school he had Miss Harvey for general math. She was a force to be reckoned with. None of the kids would tangle with Hazel Harvey. One day when she was out of the room the kids were being rowdy. They were throwing erasers. Victor threw an eraser that almost hit her as she stepped back into the room. "Victor! Why are you behaving so badly? You don't usually give me this much trouble. Go to the principal's office right now." She was standing in the doorway and he had to pass within inches of her to get out of the room. He was terrified. As he tried to get by her, she took him by the arm. He was so frightened that he lost control and wet his pants. Miss Harvey saw what had happened and must have thought that he had been punished enough. She told hime to return to his seat.
