The first aluminum company set up shop in Doylestown shortly after 1900. A couple of others set up in 1902 - one being Buckeye Aluminum. In 1911 Buckeye moved to Wooster. XXth Century Aluminum, also known as Doylestown Aluminum began operation in 1912.
